Police investigating fatal cyclist collision

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in southeast Edmonton yesterday. 

At approximately 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, a 65-year-old male cyclist was crossing 34 Street at 28A Avenue when he was struck by a Hyundai Tucson operated by a 41-year-old male.

EMS treated and transported the cyclist to hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries later the same day.

EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) is investigating.
