Police responded to a check on welfare call at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. When police arrived at a residence in the area of 88 Street and 128 Avenue, they found a deceased 51-year-old male.
The investigation has since been turned over to the EPS Homicide Section. An autopsy has not yet been scheduled.
