On Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, at approximately 7:35 a.m., EPS Downtown Branch officers responded to reports of death in the river valley near 101 Street and 100 Avenue. It was reported to police that a man was lying on a hill near a set of stairs in the area. Upon arrival, police located a deceased adult male.
Homicide Section detectives are now investigating. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025.
