On Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at approximately 4:26 a.m., EPS Downtown Branch officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area of 119 Street and Jasper Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a deceased female inside an SUV.
EPS Homicide Section is now investigating. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, Sept. 1, 2025.
Investigators are asking any residents/businesses in the area of 119 Street and Jasper Avenue to please check their security/dash camera footage for any suspicious activity between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. yesterday morning.
