Edmonton Police Unclaimed Vehicle auctions will be conducted live online at Michener-Allen Auctions website www.maauctions.com
Please access this website to register for upcoming auctions, view vehicles to be auctioned and place bids. Customers will only be able to view vehicles on the website, there is no in person viewing.
Auction: The auction will be open for bidding at 9AM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Customers will have the opportunity to place their bids until 1PM on Wednesday when bidding will close.
If you intend to register a purchased vehicle and operate it on a public highway, you are required to comply with all Alberta Registry requirements. Visit Alberta Registries for more information.
It should be noted that all vehicles are unclaimed by their previous owners and may not be in roadworthy condition. The City of Edmonton assumes no responsibility as to the AGE or CONDITION of the auction vehicles; it is the bidder’s responsibility to confirm age, condition, etc. prior to purchase. All vehicles are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”.
Vehicles may require certification to comply with the Vehicle Equipment Regulation of the Traffic Safety Act. Any vehicle not previously registered in Alberta will require an Out of Province vehicle inspection prior to being registered in Alberta. Any vehicle not previously registered in Canada must obtain clearance from Canada Border Services in order to be registered in Canada and may also require an Out of Province vehicle inspection.
Vehicles bearing a SALVAGE or UNSAFE status with Alberta Registries must obtain a Salvage Motor Vehicle Inspection certificate prior to being registered in Alberta.

Vehicle owners may claim their vehicles prior to the beginning of an auction, as such, the list of auction vehicles is subject to change without notice.
